2019 Hall of Fame Inductees

Josh Adams- Class of 2015

Josh had an outstanding career at Central Bucks South in football and track and field. On the gridiron, Josh rushed for 2,085 yards and 28 touchdowns as a sophomore and was a key to the Titans 10-2 record and advancement to the Pennsylvania District 1 Class AAAA quarterfinals. Josh’s success his sophomore season gave him state recognition when he was named as the Philadelphia Inquirer All-Southeastern Pennsylvania first-team running back and Third team All-State. Josh was one of the top running backs in the nation after his senior season. He was named to the USA Today American Family Insurance All-USA Pennsylvania football team, Pennsylvania class AAAA All-State team, and first team Suburban One League running back his Sophomore, Junior and Senior year. As a Track and Field athlete for the Titans, Josh earned 2 varsity letters and was a four time Suburban One League Champion in the 100-meter, 200-meter, high jump and 4x100 meter. After high school, Josh went on to play football at Notre Dame where in 2017 he was named the Captain for the team, was on the Maxwell Award Watch List, Doak Walker Award Watch List (2016, 2017) and was a Heisman Trophy candidate. Josh is currently a running back with the National Football League.

Colleen Christian Ruggear- Class of 2007

Colleen was an outstanding member of the Central Bucks South basketball and cross-country teams. During Colleen’s basketball career, she led the team to Suburban One League Championships with a 24-2 record her junior year and a 16-8 record as a senior. Due to her success on the court, Colleen was named Suburban One League 1st first team point guard her junior and senior seasons. She was also named the team’s most valuable player two years in a row. A team captain her senior year, Colleen was a 2007 Markward Award Nominee-Finalist and was the first 1,000 point scorer in Central Bucks South basketball history with a total of 1011 career points in 3 seasons. Colleen also earned a varsity letter for the cross-country team. After high school, Colleen continued her success as a two-sport athlete at the University of the Sciences of Philadelphia where she was a member for the basketball and cross-country teams. Colleen led the Devils basketball team in the CACC quarterfinals with 18 points and was a CACC All-Conference player her senior year.

Dong Kim- Class of 2005

At Central Bucks South, Dong was an accomplished member of the swimming and diving team. During his high school swimming career, Dong set the Central Bucks South school record in the 50 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle, 100 backstroke, 400 free relay and 200 Medley Relay. Dong is still the highest single season point scorer in Central Bucks South Swimming and Diving history. Dong’s success continued into the post season winning PIAA District One Championship in the 50 Freestyle and 100 Freestyle and went on to earn a PIAA AAA Swimming and Diving State Championship in the 50 Freestyle and 100 Freestyle. His success gained national attention as he was named as a top 100 All-American Swimmer in the 50 Freestyle and 100 Freestyle. After graduation Dong went on to swim at the University of Maryland. During the 2005-2006 season Dong placed 4th at the ACC Championships in the 200 Free Relay and 3rd place in the 400 free relay. During the 2006-2007 season Dong placed 3rd place in the 100 Free, 200 Free relay and 4th in the 400-medley relay at the Championships. Dong earned a spot in the University of Maryland record books with his 2006-2007 time in the 100 backstroke, and his 2007-2008 times in the 200 free relay, 400 free relay and 200 medley relay. In 2008 Dong was an Olympic Trial Competitor for the Beijing Olympics. 

Tom Mallon- Class of 2010

During his time as a member of the Central Bucks South track team, Tom had a career marked by milestones. Tom was a three-time PIAA District One champion earning 1st place in the 4 x 800-meter in 2009 and 800-meter in 2008 and 2010.  Tom’s success continued at the state level. In 2008, he placed first in the 800-meter at the PIAA AAA state championships. In 2009, Tom placed first in the 800-meter and 4x800 meter at the Pennsylvania Track and Field Coaches Association Indoor championships and first in the 800-meter and 4x800-meter during the PIAA AAA Championships. In 2010, Tom continued his success at the state level placing first in the mile at the Pennsylvania Track and Field Coaches Association Indoor and first place in the 2010 PIAA AAA 800-meter. Throughout his career, Tom had been awarded All-State 8 times, All-American 3 times, Pennsylvania Track and Field Coaches Association Athlete of the year in 2009 and 2010, Philadelphia Inquirer Athlete of the Year in 2009 and 2010, and Gatorade Player of the year in 2010. In 2010, Tom set several records for the 800 meters.  These include the Pennsylvania Track and Field Coaches Association Indoor Meet record,  the PIAA State Meet record, and the Pennsylvania All-Time record. He still holds the PIAA District One 800-Meter record, 4x800-meter record and 2009 PIAA PA All-Time and National Federation of High School Sports 4x800 meter record.

During the regular season, the CB South Softball team had a 15-3 record sharing the league title with Hatboro Horsham High School. The Titans entered the District One playoffs against Wissahickon with a 4-1 win against a very good Wissahickon pitcher. Two days later, the Titans traveled to Springford High School to take on the higher seeded Rams. They captured another victory by scoring 5 runs in the 6th inning and cementing an 8-0 win. The Titans only blemish in District play came when they lost 4-3 in a close game against North Penn. The Titans rallied back two days later when they defeated perennial powerhouse Pennsbury, 9-1 capturing a 3rd place finish in District One. The Titans PIAA State playoff journey began with a trip to Allentown to play Liberty High school. Haileigh Stocks lead the Titans on the mound, pitching a great game and batting in 2 home runs and 5 RBIs and leading CB South to an 8-1 win. In the second round of the State playoffs, the Titans faced St Huberts. A homerun by catcher Lauren Klepchick allowed the Titans to pull off a 3-1 win. The Titans found themselves back at Springford High school to face Pennsbury in the PIAA state semifinals.  On the back of pitcher Haileigh Stocks, who pitched a no-hitter (missed a perfect game due to a walk in the 4th inning) the Titans decisively won the game 7-0.

CB South headed to Penn State for the PIAA AAAA Softball State Championship game vs Bishop Shanahan. Great pitching by both teams led to a 0-0 tie score going into the 9th inning. The Titans secured the first team state championship for CB South with a run scoring hit by Hallie Bilker.
